Flintham Explorers Bring a Friend Camp 2007
The severe weather warnings issued for the week-end and the previous weeks flooding did not deter the Flintham unit from embracing the Centenary of Scouting by holding a "Bring a Friend Camp" at Walesby on 29th June - 1st July 2007. Ten friends in all braved the introduction to Scouting the Flintham way. Activities on offer were Rafting, Climbing, Archery and Air Riffles. Thanks to Katie Bow for organising the camp whilst sitting her GCSE's and thanks to all the friends who made it a week-end to remember, including Sam, Wendy, Katie, Chris, Cathy, Lucy, Seb, Amy, Danielle, Alex, Josh, Matt, Jack, James, Hazel, Katharine, Jenny, Alex, Ashley, and Toby.
